CSR

TKF has been contributing to a sustainable society for many years. This means that every business decision not only considers the impact on profitability, but also any consequences for the people in our organisation, its impact on the environment as well as on our reputation. CSR means continuous attention for development and growth. There is always room for improvement.

The social role of companies is increasingly the subject of discussion in the corporate world. Whereas initially efficiency and cost-saving were reasons for corporate sustainability, the focus is now primarily on attitude and behaviour. From a strategic priority, sustainability is strongly embedded in daily operations and CSR initiatives are increasingly being integrated into the organisation. Research and knowledge development play an important role in this matter.

A circular economy is also becoming increasingly important for TKF, as raw materials (such as copper, aluminium, oil and gas) are becoming scarcer and the mountain of waste continues to grow in the process. The demand for reusing increasing.

Through certification, TKF demonstrates its policy and ambition in this area. This concerns various areas of attention, including the social side of business and the permanent attention for the environment and climate.

For the necessary attention to CSR, TKF allocates the required capacity and resources. Employees follow education and training so they can contribute accordingly within their area of responsibility to make the necessary contribution.
